Note: Peach, lime, ginger, middle-weight, lightly sweet with a creamy texture and lime zest finish.

Elevage: Grapes were crushed, destemmed and pressed. Settled juice was moved to stainless steel where fermentation, including full malolactic, continued until September of 2024. A long one! In November the wine was racked off its lees and bottled without fining or filtration.

Miscellaneous: This riesling struggled for two years to finish fermentation. It gently bubbled away for ever and ever, then stopped just shy of truly dry in September, 2024. In November we gave up and bottled the wine. Godspeed little riesling. The extended lees contact is evident in the nose and mouth and also the shelf life of an opened bottle--it will remain fresh and ever changing for weeks on end.
