Dry Red Table Wine
- 25 cases produced
- Grape: 82% Blaufrankisch,10% cabernet franc, 8% cabernet sauvignon
- Alcohol: 10.2%
- Total added sulfite: 30 ppm
- Whole cluster/foot crushed, 100% stem inclusion
- French oak barrel (14 year-old) for 11 months
- Unfined and Unfiltered
- Farming: conventional/sustainable
- Vineyard: Keuka Lake, east facing, gentle slope
- Soil: Silt loam over shale


TASTING NOTE: Smoky raspberry, cherry and forest floor aromas. Light in the mouth with tiny red berries, cocoa powder, gentle tannin and silky acid.

ELEVAGE: Grapes were foot crushed and put whole cluster into a half ton bin to ferment with once daily punchdowns. After twenty days the grapes were pressed and settled juice was moved to a single, used French oak barrel to complete fermentation. Fermentation, including full malolactic, finished in June of 2021. In September the wine was racked out of barrel into tank and bottled by hand without fining or filtration.
